A copy of the subcontractor's Master's license and certificate of liability insurance is required in order to pull a permit.
A completed application, site plan, construction details and the written narrative of the proposed work are submitted to the Permit Office Manager. Upon completion of the submission, documents are uploaded to our program and review can begin. Depending upon the project, up to 5 departments, with the minimum of 2, may be required to review the permit application. Please allow 10 working days for initial review.
Yes. Any accessory structure that is over 200 square feet in size requires a building permit. See examples on the Permits page.
Approval of building permits are contingent upon the number of departments that must review the permit application and whether if a department disapproved an aspect of the project. Time frame may vary from a day to a week depending on the scope of the project.
