The City of Kilgore is currently the addressing authority within the city limit boundaries. You may request a 911 address by filling out the required application and submitting it to Kilgore City Hall or by email

The Planning Department does have hours that are open to the public. At those times, anyone can come to city hall and speak with someone in the Planning Department without an appointment. Those hours are as follows: Monday 8 A.M.- 12 P.M., Tuesday 9 A.M. to 11 A.M., Wednesday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. Tax Trust Property or sometimes called Back Tax Property can be purchased through the City of Kilgore if the property lies within the corporate city limits of Kilgore. The City Council must approve the sale of any tax trust property. Please visit the related documents under the Planning page of this website for a current list of current available properties.
Manufactured homes are only allowed in a licensed Manufactured Home Park or if you as a property owner are replacing your manufactured home. Rules for replacement are 1). The manufactured home can be no older that five years old at the time of permitting 2). The manufactured home must be at least the same size or larger than the one that is being replaced 3). You must own the property and manufactured home and be living in the home for a replacement to be allowed. 4). The manufactured home on the lot can only be replaced one time. Absolutely no mobile home are allowed within the city limits.

The Planning and Zoning Board meets on the third Wednesday of ever month at 8:30 A.M. Kilgore City Hall located at 815 N Kilgore Street.
