Merlyn Holmes has been a resident of Kilgore for the over 45 years and is the Executive Director of the Kilgore College Foundation and Community Relations
Education
She received her Associate of Applied Arts from Kilgore College and Bachelor of Business Management degree from LeTourneau University. Merlyn has served on many non-profit boards and organizations within the City.

Merlyn is married to Gene Holmes and they have two married sons, Brent and Greg, and four grandchildren.
