The Library has 10 computers available for public use. These computers are free of charge. All public computers have internet access.
Search online articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals, as well as perform research regarding genealogy/family history, homework needs, and more.
The Interlibrary Loan Service requests books and magazine articles not available at Kilgore Public Library from other libraries across the United States. Your account must be in good standing for three months prior to use this service.
The Library houses a copy machine, a typewriter, and a fax machine.
Each year the Library receives copies of the most commonly used tax forms and booklets (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ), and the reproducible forms binder. The Internal Revenue Service no longer provides specialized forms except through their website and the reproducible binder. While not able to give tax advice, the library staff can help you acquire the forms you need.
The Library offers youth services and programs year-round, from Summer Reading Club and storytimes to a wide selection of reading materials for checkout and reference.
The Wireless Lounge and Study Room offers free WiFi and is a great place to cruise the internet on your own device or a quiet place to study or read.
