Fire Prevention/Education

Kilgore Fire Department offers a variety of services and programs in an effort to educate the public by providing education to schools and our citizens that include CPR, AED, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and first-aid training.

If you would like to schedule a program for your school, business or organization, please contact the Administrative Assistant at 903-988-4112.

The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for fire permits, fire safety, public education, and fire code enforcement.

The Kilgore Fire Prevention/Storm Awareness Trailer is just one of the interactive tools we use to educate the public. It was purchased with a grant from FEMA and sponsorship of Patterson Chevrolet of Kilgore and KLTV 7 StormTracker.
